Lawhon Elementary has received a PREPS Achievement Award for its third-grade math performance, according to the Tupelo Public School District.
The school’s scale score was twice the increase of the state average, district officials said. The recognition highlights the school’s success in improving student achievement in math.
District officials congratulated the staff and students for their efforts and dedication.
