North Mississippi Honors Carah and Bill Prater as Grand Marshals

Carah and Bill Prater have been recognized as North Mississippi Grand Marshals for their years of service and support for Extra Table, a local organization dedicated to fighting hunger.

Community members are invited to celebrate the Praters by donating 16-ounce jars of peanut butter at Tupelo City Hall. Those short on time can sponsor a food box in their honor by visiting extratable.org/march.

The organization is also seeking volunteers to help pack food boxes on Tuesday, March 3, at 9 a.m. at the Tupelo Furniture Market, Building 6. Participants are encouraged to sign up at extratable.org/march to support the event.
