Pierce St. Elementary in Tupelo has been recognized with a PREPS Achievement Award for its performance in 4th-grade math, according to the Tupelo Public School District.
The school’s scale score increased at twice the rate of the statewide average, district officials said. The achievement highlights the school’s progress in improving student math scores.
