Officials responded to a report of gunfire around 7:20 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of North Green Street, Tupelo police said.
Police confirmed that shots were fired into an occupied residence. No injuries were reported, authorities said.
A white Dodge Durango with black rims was seen leaving the scene. The investigation remains active, and police said there is no ongoing threat to the public at this time.
