Tupelo Public Works to repair roadway, drainage at West Jefferson Street

Public Works crews in Tupelo will begin roadway and drainage repairs in front of 552 West Jefferson Street on Tuesday, March 3, at 6:30 a.m., according to city officials.

The section of West Jefferson between North Church Street and Madison Street will be closed during the repairs. Crews expect the roadway to reopen by the afternoon of March 6.

A detour route to Main Street will be established to guide drivers around the work zone. Officials advise motorists to exercise caution when traveling through the area.
