Booneville native Kaitlyn Kennedy named TPSD September Newcomer of the Month

Kaitlyn Kennedy, a third-grade math teacher at Pierce Street Elementary School, has been named the Tishomingo County School District’s September Newcomer of the Month.

A Booneville native, Kennedy recently joined the district this year and is a graduate of Mississippi State University, according to district officials.

Her dedication to her students and positive impact on the school community earned her the recognition, the district said.

District officials praised Kennedy for her commitment to education and her smooth transition into the district after relocating from her hometown.
