Denise Truscott returns to TCT stage in ‘Almost, Maine’

Denise Truscott is appearing on the TCT stage again, portraying the character Marci in the upcoming production of “Almost, Maine.” She previously performed in TCT’s productions of “Cinderella” and “Sense and Sensibility,” where she played Mrs. Jennings.

Truscott holds a Bachelor of Arts in theatre from Nicholls State University in Louisiana. She has also acted and directed in Central Florida theaters, including roles such as Rose in “Secret Garden” and Cousin Nettie in “Carousel.”

She expressed gratitude for the opportunity, thanking director Allana Austin and her husband, Chuck, for their support. “Almost, Maine” is a romantic comedy written by John Cariani and directed by Austin.

The show is sponsored by The Puckett Family and runs January 29 to 31, 2026, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7 p.m., with a matinee Saturday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students and children. Reservations are available at www.tctlyric.com.
