Downtown Tupelo Celebrates Cherry Blossom Festival with Special Events

Downtown Tupelo will celebrate the arrival of spring with the Cherry Blossom Festival and Spring Open House on Saturday, March 28, according to event organizers.

The festivities include limited-time specials at local restaurants. Fairpark Grill will offer a Neon Sakura dish, while Park Heights Restaurant will serve a Plum Sakura Martini, a nod to the Japanese word for cherry blossom.

Organizers noted that sakura means cherry blossom in Japanese. The events are part of Tupelo Parks and Recreation’s efforts to promote community engagement and celebrate the season.

Participants are encouraged to visit downtown businesses and enjoy the themed offerings. The celebrations aim to highlight the city’s vibrant local scene and its connection to springtime traditions.
