Downtown Tupelo’s Revitalization Gains Noted by Main Street Association
Downtown Tupelo has experienced a major transformation from 2020 to 2025, according to the Mississippi Main Street Association.
The organization reports that 120 new businesses opened in the area, creating 325 new jobs. More than $111 million in investments contributed to the downtown’s revitalization.
Projects included revitalized building facades, refurbished alleys, and a $2.2 million Depot project. Volunteers dedicated over 11,500 hours to these efforts, helping position downtown Tupelo as a hub for business, community, and growth.
The improvements have helped establish Downtown Tupelo as a thriving destination for residents and visitors alike.
