On July 31, 2025, Tupelo officers conducted a traffic stop on North Front Street for a violation and noticed the driver showing signs of impairment. The individual was arrested for suspected DUI and transported to the Lee County Jail.
Following further investigation, authorities identified the driver as 30-year-old Ambrecia B. Blanks of Shannon. Blanks was formally charged on August 1 with her third offense of Driving Under the Influence, having two prior DUI convictions.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Sumner set her bond at $25,000. The case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
