Firefighters are preparing for the upcoming summer heat by bringing their own protective gear to stay safe in high temperatures, according to a department spokesperson.
They also plan to showcase their achievements, including two first-place trophies from last year, at upcoming community events.
Officials remind residents to stay vigilant about fire safety and heat-related health risks during the hot months.
