Last weeks of summer beckon visitors to Tupelo’s downtown attractions

Summer is still underway, and residents and visitors are encouraged to make the most of the remaining weeks with a visit to downtown Tupelo.

The GumTree Museum of Art offers free admission and is open Tuesday through Saturday, making it an ideal destination for a downtown outing. Among current exhibits is “Still” by Brent Funderburk, which will close on Aug. 29, according to the museum’s schedule.

The museum is located at 211 W Main Street. Visitors are invited to explore the art and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of downtown Tupelo before summer ends.
