Lee County Implements Burn Ban Through April 15

Lee County has been added to the list of counties under a burn ban, according to the Mississippi Forestry Commission.

The outdoor burn ban will take effect on March 28 and remain in place through April 15, 2026.

The ban aims to reduce the risk of wildfires during the dry season, officials said. Residents are advised to adhere to the restrictions and exercise caution with outdoor fires.
