Saltillo, Miss. — A man was arrested after police found a felony amount of methamphetamine and firearms during a search of a home on Pulltight Road.
On March 6, law enforcement officers from the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit and the Saltillo Police Department executed a search warrant at the residence within the city limits, according to authorities.
William Wallace Ellis, 53, of Saltillo, was charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. His bond was set at $50,000 by Lee County Justice Court Judge Chuck Hopkins.
The case will be presented to the Lee County grand jury for further review, officials said.
