Mississippi man arrested on drug and firearm charges after search warrant execution
Booneville police and the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at 203 Old Marietta Road on Feb. 2, following multiple reports of illegal drug activity at the residence, according to authorities.
During the search, agents seized more than three-quarters of a pound of methamphetamine, over one ounce of fentanyl, three firearms, and $12,500 in cash, the department said.
Thirty-one-year-old Zane Shaundra Miller was arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking of methamphetamine and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Miller, who has prior narcotics charges and is currently on Mississippi state probation, was held without bond, according to Booneville Municipal Court Judge Greg Meyer.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities said additional charges may be forthcoming.
