Slade McNeil is making his stage debut as Steve in the upcoming production of “Almost, Maine” at TCT. He describes himself as anxiously optimistic about the experience and credits his wife and scene partner, Victoria, for her support and encouragement.

McNeil has been a fan of TCT since the beginning of his relationship with Victoria, after seeing productions like “Doubt” and “All Shook Up.” He has also worked backstage for the show “May We All.”

The romantic comedy, written by John Cariani and directed by Allana Austin, runs from Jan. 29 to 31, 2026. Performances are scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7 p.m., with a matinee on Saturday at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $25 for adults and $10 for students and children. Tickets can be reserved at www.tctlyric.com.

McNeil enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs, but he also appreciates socializing with others. The production is sponsored by the Puckett Family.
