Steven Winton makes stage debut in TCT’s The Star Spangled Girl

Steven Winton makes his debut at TCT in the role of Norman Cornell in Neil Simon’s The Star Spangled Girl. Winton, a former combat medic for the U.S. Army and a registered nurse, is also self-employed in fiber optic cable installation.

This production marks Winton’s first lead role in a theater show. He previously participated in college improv classes. Winton said he enjoys acting because it is fun and offers a chance to escape into a different character.

The Star Spangled Girl is directed by Debby Gibbs and runs March 5 to 7 at 7 p.m. each night at TCT Off Broadway, located at 213 East Franklin. Tickets and more information are available at tctlyric.com.
