Tupelo Community Theatre announces cast for ‘Almost, Maine’ opening Jan. 29
J. Lowell Barton, an artist and actor from Okolona, Mississippi, has been cast in Tupelo Community Theatre’s production of “Almost, Maine.” Barton has previously performed in productions such as “Twelve Angry Men,” “She Kills Monsters,” “The Mousetrap,” “Clue,” and “May We All,” marking his sixth appearance with the local theater company.
Barton expressed gratitude to his friends, family, and pets for their support throughout the production process. He also dedicated the performances to his father, who has always supported his endeavors, according to a statement from TCT.
“Almost, Maine” is a romantic comedy written by John Cariani and directed by Allana Austin. The show is scheduled to run from Jan. 29 to 31, with performances Thursday through Saturday at 7 p.m. and a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students and children.
