Liz Dawson, production manager for Tupelo Community Theatre, has been part of the theater company for more than two decades. Over the years, she has appeared in various roles, including a gossip in “Sense and Sensibility” and Mother Bailey in “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
Last year, Dawson played a registered nurse in the summer production of “The Sunshine Boys” by Primetime Players. She also directed the 2023 summer youth production of “The Wizard of Oz” and served as assistant director for the upcoming youth production of “Into the Woods.”
In addition to her work on stage and behind the scenes, Dawson serves on Tupelo Community Theatre’s Board of Directors. She is also the office manager at Joyner Elementary School. Dawson and her husband, Dave, are grandparents to four grandchildren, she said.
