Tupelo man charged with armed robbery, held without bond

A Tupelo man was arrested on suspicion of armed robbery following an incident on Lumpkin Avenue, according to authorities.

The robbery was reported on Dec. 8, 2025, when a victim told officers she was robbed at gunpoint. Further investigation led to the arrest of Cody D. Adams, 22, on Jan. 27, 2026.

Adams was charged with one count of armed robbery. On Jan. 28, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordered him held without bond. The case is scheduled to be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury, authorities said.
