TUPELO, Miss. – A Tupelo man has been sentenced to nearly three decades in prison after pleading guilty to the sexual battery of a child.
District Attorney Jason Herring announced that Kendal Ackinson, 30, entered his guilty plea on Monday.
Ackinson was sentenced to 27.5 years in prison. He will not be eligible for parole or early release, prosecutors said.
