Tupelo Mayor urges donations for March of the Mayors food drive
Tupelo Mayor Jason L. Jordan is encouraging residents to donate jars of peanut butter to the ongoing March of the Mayors food drive. The campaign aims to gather food for local families in need.
The final week of the drive is underway, with donations accepted at multiple city locations, including City Hall, the Tupelo Police Department, Fire Station No. 1, Tupelo Water and Light Collections, and the Parks and Recreation Main Office at Ballard Park. Each donation should be in 16-ounce jars of peanut butter.
Organizers, including Extra Table Feeds and Atmos Energy, are thanked for their efforts in hosting the event. Community members are encouraged to contribute before the drive concludes, supporting local food assistance programs.
