Tupelo Police Department commemorates 9/11 victims and heroes

The Tupelo Police Department marked the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks by remembering the nearly 3,000 lives lost that day.

The department honored the first responders who answered the call and the men and women of the military who served in the decades since.

Officials emphasized remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice. The department stated, “We will never forget.”

Community members gathered to reflect on the tragedy and pay tribute to those affected by the attacks.
