The Tupelo Police Department expressed gratitude Monday to Tupelo Water & Light, Tupelo Public Works, Tupelo Park and Recreation, and Tombigbee Electric Power Association for their efforts during an ice storm.
Crews from these agencies worked extended hours in hazardous conditions to maintain essential services and restore normalcy for residents, according to the police department.
The department announced it has resumed normal operations and is responding to regular calls for service. Officials thanked the community for its patience and cooperation during the weather event.
