Tupelo Water and Light to Close Section of West Jefferson Street for Emergency Sewer Work
Tupelo Water and Light will close a section of West Jefferson Street from Church Street to Madison Street starting at 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, for emergency sewer tap work, according to a news release.
No through traffic will be permitted on the closed section. Signs, barricades, and cones will be set up to manage traffic flow, the release said.
The road will reopen once the work is completed, the utility company said. No specific completion time was provided.
