UM to close campuses Monday amid forecasted severe weather

University of Mississippi campuses will be closed Monday because of forecasted severe weather, the school announced Friday. This closure includes the Ole Miss-Tupelo campus.

Students may receive instructions from their instructors about how the closure could affect their courses. The university will operate normally on Friday, Jan. 23, but all events and activities starting at 7 p.m. are canceled.

Ole Miss-Tupelo students, faculty, and staff are advised to follow @RebAlert on social media, monitor their email, and check Ole Miss-Tupelo’s social media channels for updates. The university will determine if additional operational adjustments are necessary once the storm’s full impact is assessed.
