West Main Street to narrow to two lanes for sewer repair starting Monday

West Main Street from Church Street to Green Street will be reduced to two lanes starting at 8 a.m. Monday, according to Tupelo Water and Light. Crews will be performing sewer line repairs in the area.

The lane closure will remain in effect until the work is completed. City officials said traffic flow will be managed with an information board, signs, and cones along the route.

Motorists are advised to plan for delays and to follow posted signs for guidance during the construction period.
