Tupelo Community Theatre will host a special preview performance of ‘Lookin’,’ an original work by local playwright and TCT member Mariah Wooten, on Jan. 15 at 7 p.m.
The event takes place at the theater’s location at 201 N. Broadway. All proceeds from the $25 tickets will support TCT’s trip to the Mississippi Theatre Association Festival in Oxford, where the play will represent the theater and compete against productions from across the state.
Organizers hope the performance will draw community support for local artists and help fund the theater’s festival endeavors. The preview offers attendees a chance to experience a new work and contribute to TCT’s regional representation, according to a release from the theater.
