TUPLO, Miss. — Tupelo Community Theatre will hold a preview performance of ‘Lookin’,’ an original play by local playwright Mariah Wooten, on Jan. 15. The show begins at 7 p.m. at the theatre’s venue.
The event is notable because all proceeds will support TCT’s travel to the Mississippi Theatre Association Theatre Festival in Oxford. There, ‘Lookin” will represent the theatre and compete against productions from across the state, according to organizers.
The cast features Jinx Adams, who plays a party-goer and is returning to the stage with increased enthusiasm for the new year. Adams has previously appeared in productions such as ’12 Angry Jurors,’ ‘Little Shop of Horrors,’ and ‘Cinderella,’ among others, and has also gained experience through years of playing ‘Just Dance,’ the actor said.
