OSHA investigating work related accident in West Point, MS
A workplace accident resulted in the death of a man from Clay County on Friday, June 24th in West Point.
According to the Monroe County Coroner, at about 11:20 a.m., Robert Grays, a resident of West Point and employee of Falcon Construction, was working on a paving project in the area of Davidson Line Road and Highway 45 when he was struck by a co-worker operating a Bobcat tractor.
Grays was transferred to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He passed away several hours later due to multiple traumas caused by the incident.
OSHA is currently investigating the accident.
