Jesse Watkins is part of the cast of Almost, Maine at Tupelo Community Theatre. Watkins has previously appeared in TCT productions including A Few Good Men, Cinderella, Once, Shrek, Something Rotten!, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and White Christmas, according to a news release.
He expressed gratitude to the director, cast, and crew, and acknowledged the importance of storytelling, which he called one of humanity’s best ideas, alongside the national park system. Watkins continues to share musical stories through his work at song.land, the release stated.
Almost, Maine, a romantic comedy by John Cariani, is directed by Allana Austin and sponsored by The Puckett Family. The play runs from Jan. 29 to 31, with performances Thursday through Saturday at 7 p.m. and a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m., according to the theatre’s website. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students and children. Attendees can reserve seats at www.tctlyric.com, the release added.
