Jimmy D. Morgan joins cast of ‘Young Frankenstein’ at Tupelo Community Theatre
Jimmy D. Morgan, an ensemble cast member, is making a return to theater with the musical ‘Young Frankenstein’ at Tupelo Community Theatre. Morgan, who previously performed in productions such as ‘Lonestar’ and ‘Deathtrap,’ has shifted his focus from comedy to serious drama and horror.
He reunites with co-leads from his past shows in this production, which runs from August 20 to 22. Morgan describes himself as a “recovering funny person” and notes that he is now dedicated to more serious roles. Outside the theater, he is often terrorized at home by his rescue cat, Spooky Mulder, named after the show’s villain.
The production is directed by Christi Houin, with media coverage by Matt Wyatt Media. Audience members are encouraged to visit the theater’s website for ticket information and showtimes.
