John Carroll to star as The Monster in ‘Young Frankenstein’ at Tupelo Community Theatre
John Carroll, an accomplished actor with a diverse theatrical background, will portray The Monster in Tupelo Community Theatre’s upcoming production of Mel Brooks’ musical ‘Young Frankenstein.’
Carroll recently performed as a tenor in the quartet in ‘Plaid Tidings’ and earned awards for his role in the play ‘Tone Clusters,’ which won recognition at the state, regional, and national levels. He is also a member of APMM, an organization dedicated to theatrical arts.
Off stage, Carroll enjoys wrestling items out of his Basset hound’s mouth and credits his six-inch platform shoes with helping him overcome his fear of heights. The production runs August 20-22, directed by Christi Houin. More information is available at www.tctlyric.com.
