Police Raid East Tupelo Home

A residence on Grandview Drive in East Tupelo was raided in the early afternoon on Tuesday, December 12th.

At least one male was taken into custody and a neighbor said that there was police activity for several hours at the home.

The neighbor, who did not want to be named, stated that this surprised them and others who live nearby.

Grandview is a small cul-de-sac street located off Elvis Presley Drive and is a typically quiet area filled with several families with young children. Tuesday’s raid has sparked concern among residents of Grandview and some feel uneasy following the event.

The neighbor also said that the residents of the raided home were newer to the neighborhood and didn’t know much about them.
