Tupelo 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb Draws Largest Crowd Yet
Participants, the Tupelo Fire Department, and volunteers gathered Saturday for the annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, organizers said.
Thanks were extended to everyone who took part in the event, as well as to Melinda Wommack Monts and the Tupelo Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for their help in making this year’s event the largest to date.
Organizers did not specify attendance numbers but highlighted the event’s growing popularity and community support.
The stair climb serves as a memorial to those who lost their lives in the September 11 attacks and aims to honor first responders.
