The Family Fun Day event scheduled for Saturday at The Depot has been canceled due to forecasted storms and strong winds, according to organizers.
Event organizers expressed disappointment but remain hopeful for future gatherings. They thanked nonprofit partners, sponsors, and participants for their support and said they plan to reschedule the event.
In the meantime, organizers encourage the community to attend the Tupelo Chili Fest at Fairpark on Friday, October 16, as part of the city’s Fall Into Tupelo 2026 activities. Updates about the rescheduling will be shared on social media channels, officials said.
