Members of the Mary Stuart Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution attended the Tupelo City Council meeting Tuesday night to help recognize Constitution Week.
Chapter members De Williamson and Sarah Harris joined Mayor Todd Jordan for the signing of a proclamation that designates September 17-23 as Constitution Week in Tupelo.
The event highlighted the city’s efforts to honor the nation’s founding document and its historical significance, according to city officials.
