Tupelo to Celebrate 70th Anniversary of Elvis Homecoming Concert

The Elvis Presley Birthplace and Downtown Tupelo plan to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s iconic Homecoming Concert with a special event scheduled for September 26, 2026.

The celebration will take place at Fairpark in downtown Tupelo from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with free admission. The event will feature a performance by local band Brothers Windham, starting at 6 p.m., followed by a recreation of Elvis’ original concert, performed by tribute artist Nick Perkins.

The evening will conclude with a performance by Wyly Bigger, presented by the Down on Main Concert Series. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy a night of live music honoring Tupelo’s musical heritage. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, but coolers are not permitted.
