The University of Mississippi will remain closed through Feb. 8 because of the ongoing impact of a recent ice storm and severe winter weather, the school announced Wednesday.
The closure includes all classes, events, and activities at Ole Miss-Tupelo. The university is monitoring weather conditions and will notify students, faculty, and staff of any further changes to operations, according to a university release.
Students, faculty, and staff are advised to check their email, social media accounts for regional campuses, and RebAlert texts for updates about weather safety and emergency services, the statement said.
