The city has issued a reminder that outdoor burning of debris is prohibited within city limits to prevent fires and air pollution.

Tupelo High School’s theatre company will stage the play ‘Silent Sky’ this week, with performances scheduled from Feb. 12-14 in the school’s small auditorium.

The cast of ‘Grease’ is set to take the stage at the Lyric Theatre from May 7 to 9. The production features a diverse group of performers in multiple roles.

Transfer students have until the end of the weekend to submit their applications for free, according to university officials.

Students finishing their associate’s degree this spring can transfer to Ole Miss with a waived application fee. The offer applies to all campuses and ends this weekend.
