Tupelo man charged in series of gas station burglaries
Tupelo police have arrested a local man in connection with three burglaries at a gas station on South Eason Boulevard since mid-July, authorities announced.
Jonathan Gritzman, 26, of Tupelo, was taken into custody Aug. 5 after an investigation into the break-ins at the Eagle Gas Station. Store employees reported multiple items stolen across three separate incidents.
Gritzman faces three counts of burglary of a commercial building. On Aug. 6, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered him held on a $30,000 bond. The charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury for further review, police said.
