C.W. Jackson was honored Tuesday night at the Tupelo City Council meeting for his 24 years of service to the Tupelo Major Thoroughfare Committee.
Jackson received a plaque from Tupelo Mayor Todd Jordan, who was joined at the podium by fellow committee members Robin Haire and Charlotte Loden, as well as committee director Greg Pirkle.
The recognition highlighted Jackson’s longstanding commitment to the city’s transportation efforts, according to city officials.
