Later, attendees visited the GumTree Museum of Art for a Derby-style fashion show featuring fascinators from Reed’s Department Store and Favorite Daughters, adding a touch of elegance to the day.

Lunch was available at various downtown eateries, many offering outdoor seating. The day also included the 10th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival at The Depot, celebrating Japanese culture with performances and cultural displays, Tupelo Parks and Recreation said.

The evening concluded with a performance by the North Mississippi Symphony Orchestra at the Lyric Theatre, featuring violist Alexander Markov. Attendees also stopped at Cold As Ice Kreamery on Spring Street for a sweet treat.
