Last Friday, Chief Quaka, Deputy Chief Hill, Captain Wilkerson, Officer A. Hendrix, and Officer Wheeler participated in a community outreach event at Nathaniel’s Place, organized by Grace Nation Church.
The officers handed out snacks, interacted with children, and played games during the event. Officials said such activities provide an opportunity to connect with young people in a positive way.
Pastor Michael Stamps of Grace Nation Church expressed appreciation for the partnership, noting that events like this help strengthen community ties. The department also credited the church for helping make the afternoon possible.
