Man arrested on felony shoplifting charges in Tupelo

Tyler L. Camburn, 35, of Walnut, was arrested on felony shoplifting charges following an investigation into thefts at a Tupelo home improvement store.

The incident was reported on Sept. 2 at Lowe’s on North Gloster Street. Store personnel told authorities that Camburn had stolen items on two separate occasions.

After further investigation, Camburn was arrested on Sept. 22. Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Sumner ordered him held on a $10,000 bond on Sept. 24.

The case has been forwarded to the Lee County Grand Jury for further review, according to authorities.
