Ole Miss students affected by Winter Storm Fern receive emergency aid

More than 420 students at the University of Mississippi have received emergency assistance following Winter Storm Fern, according to university officials. The aid was provided through the Rebel Relief Disaster Fund, which was established to support students facing urgent needs.

Despite the progress, nearly 900 students still have outstanding requests for help with essentials such as food, housing, and transportation. University officials emphasized that the work is ongoing and called for additional donations to meet the remaining needs.
