Shannon Morgan makes stage debut with TCT Off-Broadway in Tupelo
Shannon Morgan is making her stage debut with TCT Off-Broadway in Tupelo. The actress, who is on hiatus from her career as an English and Literature teacher, is appearing in Stephen Mallatratt’s “The Woman in Black” directed by Denise Truscott.
Morgan, who has spent the last decade teaching in South Korea and China, is enjoying a slower pace in Mississippi while missing her East Asian experiences. She has been spending time with her family and binge-watching “Breaking Bad” with a lifelong friend during her stay.
In addition to her acting, Morgan is training for her first half-marathon scheduled for October. She also stays active at ATC Fitness, where she tries to stay safe while preparing for her race.
The play runs from October 1 through 3 at 213 E. Franklin St., behind the arena. Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 7 p.m., with matinees at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults. More information is available at www.tctlyric.com.
