Denise Truscott is set to direct Stephen Mallatratt’s play, ‘The Woman in Black,’ at TCT in Tupelo, scheduled for Oct. 1-3, 2026. The production will be held at 213 E. Franklin St., behind the arena.
Truscott expressed her enthusiasm for the project, noting her cast and crew have dedicated significant effort to the show. She hopes it will deliver a chilling experience for audiences.
Truscott has previously directed productions including ‘Women Playing Hamlet’ and ‘Lookin” last season. She has also directed several plays in Central Florida and aims to continue her work locally with her new theater family.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in theater from Northwestern State University in Louisiana, where she grew up. Truscott has performed in numerous productions there and is grateful for the support of her creative team.
Tickets are $25 for adults and can be purchased at www.tctlyric.com. Performances are scheduled for Thursday through Saturday at 7 p.m., with a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m.
