The Touch-A-Truck event is scheduled for Sept. 12 at Veterans Park in east Tupelo, according to organizers. The event begins at 9 a.m. with a sensory-friendly hour, offering a quieter experience for children with sensory sensitivities.
From 10:01 a.m. to 11 a.m., the event will feature loud trucks, horns, sirens, and other fun activities. Organizers say the event aims to provide a family-friendly environment for children to explore various vehicles and enjoy activities.
Organizers expressed gratitude to sponsors, including Internal Medicine & Pediatrics in New Albany and Saltillo, Blue Bell Ice Cream, and Midas Automotive of Tupelo. They thanked sponsors for their support in making the event possible.
