Tupelo Community Theatre welcomes Liz Autry to her first musical role

Liz Autry, an ensemble member at Tupelo Community Theatre, is making her musical debut with the upcoming production of “Young Frankenstein.” Autry previously appeared in four plays last season and expressed her excitement about this new experience.

During the day, Autry works as a high school teacher and is also a wife and mother of two college-aged sons. She credits her friends Christi Houin and Debra for their patience and guidance as she rediscovered her singing and dancing talents, which she had not exercised in more than 20 years.

The musical runs from August 20 to 22 at Tupelo Community Theatre. It is directed by Christi Houin. Fans can find more information at www.tctlyric.com.

The production is part of the theater’s ongoing efforts to showcase local talent and provide entertaining performances for the community. The cast photo was taken by Matt Wyatt Media.
